Tomatoes and peppers have been adopted by Lynnville residents as part of the Lynnville Library Summer Project. The first weekend in May, residents will come together to plant their tomatoes and peppers. Many of them are doing so in honor of someone they know. The purpose of the project is to create community spirit and to enhance the appearance of the community. Over the course of the summer, residents will be responsible for the care of their plantings, and adopters will then be able to harvest their own tomatoes and peppers.
The plantings are located by the Lynnville Railroad Station area. We ask that you please respect this space and do not touch the plantings.
